Shout out to Michael Aram!

So I'm creeping on the web, and I get this e-mail from iVillage about "creepy" Halloween decorations and what do I find a picture of? This really great Michael Aram thorn lamp! I love it! I don't see how it's considered a Halloween decoration, but it's still really cool.

There are also thorny candlestick holders. If you have a thing for pointy things, I recommend checking the website out. Just a little FYI though, the lamp is $300. Aram's website is chocked full of amazing home accessories, mostly made of precious metals. Aram is an artist whose studies of metal working in India inspired his line. His flagship store is based out of New York. Definitely worth checking out. If you're looking for a high end or conversation piece to finish off a room, this is a good place to find it.
To end, my personal favorite, the skeleton chair. If I had one, I'd build my dining room around this chair. Enjoy!

Only The Beginning...

Cue song from cheesy 80's cartoon. I'm starting this blog to, more than anything, share my random musings with the world. Mostly focused on interior design and its' many branches. Pictures, videos, how-to's and anything else I deem worthy of my time and yours!

I want to re-arrange and paint every room in my house at least 3 times a week. I have a habit of collecting pictures of great ideas and accessories from magazines (most of which I never even use). I always see things floating about cyberspace that make me want to run to my wallet and grab my credit card. Well, now instead of spending oodles of money I don't have on items I have no where to keep, I will post them and share. Perhaps that will satisfy my appetite for the fabulous and save my bank account from the land of no return... We will see!
